Hello, My name is Ashley Ruff , the founder and creator of   Alight Scented Home.
This brand began as my escape a healing space born out of postpartum and the chaos of COVID. During a time that felt heavy and uncertain, I turned to creativity as therapy. Melting, mixing, and pouring candles that reflected the peace I was searching for.

What started as a personal passion project quickly became a form of restoration. It pulled me out of a toxic environment and reminded me that beauty can bloom from rebuilding one candle, one scent, one spark at a time.

As I began researching ingredients, I realized how many “luxury” candles were filled with harmful toxins. That’s when my mission became clear: to create clean, natural products that promote well-being  not just good smells.

Alight Scented Home became my way of shining light back into the world  a brand built on healing, creativity, and purpose.
Today, I pour each creation with that same intention  to remind others that no matter how dark a season feels, there’s always a light waiting to be rekindled.
